Forms for recording and surveying violence
THL’s topic page on violence (in Finnish and Swedish ony) contains materials that support professionals in identifying, interacting with and helping parties involved in violence. The website also contains forms for recording and surveying violence. Using the forms requires that the user has basic information on domestic and intimate partner violence. You can use the forms as tools for asking about and recording violence.
It is a good idea to draw up a written safety plan with the victim of violence. The safety plan strengthens the sense of control of the victim, and it can reduce or mitigate the consequences of violence. give a copy of the safety plan to the client only if you and the client assess that it is safe to do so.
